Japanese streetwear brand Neighborhood and Converse are teaming up again, as a two-sneaker collection was unveiled today. This time, the two join forces on the Chuck '70 and One Star '74. While maintaining its streewear and workwear style, the Neighborhood x Converse Collection also adds motorcycle-inspired functionality. With roots in the motorcycle counterculture, Neighborhood designer Shinsuke Takizawa clearly translates the theme on to the Chuck '74. The sneakers feature rugged black canvas and leather uppers with a predominant leather and rubber midfoot overlay for shifting the gears on a motorcycle. The One Star '70 features a premium black suede upper with leather sock liners. Trademark Neighborhood texts runs the perimeter of the midsole. The Neighborhood x Converse Chuck '74 and One Star '70 will retail for $110 and $100 respectively, on April 6th at Converse and other select retailers.
