Amsterdam-based label Filling Pieces has taken to Paris’s Galerie Perrotin art gallery once again, this time to showcase its FW17 “Move Without Barriers” sneaker collection. The collection is inspired by the “ingenuity of nomadic Mongolian tribes,” who move from place to place biannually in search of a better home, looking for land with untapped resources to fuel their creativity. Filling Pieces says the new styles pay homage to not only the resourcefulness and ingenuity of these traveling people, but also to their adaptability. For the first time, the brand has divided its styles into several different segments to better define its design direction: Basic, Youth, Luxury, Contemporary, Minimal, and Women’s. Take a sneak peak at the new collection after the jump.
