Michael Jordan’s Concord 11's From The 72-10 Season Are Being Auctioned Off

Twenty years ago, Michael Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to the single greatest season in NBA history. Their 72 wins was the record for most triumphs in a season, until Golden State shattered that mark just a few months ago. What makes the ’96 Bulls a superior team is that they took home a Championship, which matters far more than regular season wins. That season, Jordan rotated the “Concord” and “Bred” colorways of the Air Jordan 11, and SCP Auctions will feature a game-worn, autographed pair on August 3rd.

BAIT Released 60 Collaborations for San Diego Comic-Con

San Diego Comic-Con has grown rapidly from cult following to cultural phenomenon, the event now hosts not only comic related events, but video games, movies, toys and TV as well. West Coast sneaker and streetwear retailer BAIT was more than ready. Collaborating with a who’s who of the entertainment industry (20 licensed properties, 10 movie studios and 15 brands to be precise) over five days, BAIT started strong with 2 booths inside SDCC and its San Diego chapter store and kept the party going quite literally the whole time. Movie partners ranged from Seth Rogan’s Sausage Party to decades old classics like Back to the Future and Star Wars while other collabs included everything from Hello Kitty to Medicom Toys to Nike. While events were hosted and special products were released, BAIT still managed to drop some hyped sneakers like the BAIT x Diadora x Felix the Cat kicks and the adidas Pharrell NMD during the course of the week. Check out some recap photos of the BAIT SDCC craziness above and shop the collaborative gear over at its online store.

Air Jordan 1 Retro KO High OG "Pure Platinum"

The Jumpman will be releasing a new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Retro KO High OG this weekend that comes covered in Pure Platinum all throughout the upper. According to Nike, this colorway takes inspiration from the recent Jordan Brand x Don C collaborations and features an all over quilted suede upper with canvas overlays. Metallic Silver accents and a White sole unit add some contrast to this pair of Jordan 1's that can be found at select retailers beginning on July 30th for $140 USD.

Parley x adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged

Shown here are leaked images of an upcoming adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged designed with Parley for the Oceans, an organization that seeks to eliminate threats to Earth's oceans. The sneaker reworks the traditional heel-area support piece and uses what appears to be recycled plastic salvaged from the ocean there. The pulltab on back reads "Parley," confirming this shoe's collab status. adidas has long hinted at a retail release to come from its projects with Parley, which have been unavailable to the public for the most part. The brand mentioned in a June press release that one of its "top footwear franchises" would use recycled plastic in the second half of 2016 for a commercial release, a description that certainly fits this shoe. No word on when this Parley x adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged will be available at retail.

PatBo x Converse Floral Collection

São Paulo-based fashion label PatBo is renowned for playful designs and bright feminine prints. This youthful spirit is evident in the debut PatBo x Converse Floral Collection, which places colorful embroideries, molded flowers and metal studs on an assortment of Chuck Taylor silhouettes. The PatBo x Converse Floral Collection that includes the Chuck Taylor All Star Ox, Hi, Lux, Classic Shroud and High Line Ox Shroud are now available at select stores and online.

FILA's Black Line FW16 Collection

FILA’s Black Line FW16 collection continues the brand’s homage to the classic steez of the 1980s and ’90s, serving up more contemporary twists on styles famously worn by the likes of 2Pac, LL Cool J, and TLC. Just like its SS16 offering, the collection is once again packed full of bright colors and statement graphics. New styles introduced include dungarees, body-con dresses and a range of new accessories. The collection also sees a nostalgic visit to some of FILA’s OG bold branding, celebrating a time in which sports brands reigned on the dancefloor and were worn for fashion, not fitness. The collection is available from FILA’s online store and select UK retailers with drops in July through to September.

Watch Jeremy Lin Fill Michael Jordan's Shoes in "Space Jam" Spoof

Before LeBron James even has a chance to ruin your childhood with Space Jam 2, Jeremy Lin has beat him to the punch with an anime-inspired, straight-to-YouTube short film called Space Jam 3: Anime Edition!. The story has Lin getting sucked into his computer while playing video-games and then helping out anime characters like Goku and Sailor Moon learn how to play basketball. Does he get his own Space Jam sneakers? Not quite. In the piece, Lin stays in an adidas ZX Flux that doesn't have anything to do with Jordan's legendary "Space Jam" 11's. Watch the video below.

Here's Russell Wilson Trying to Sell Some Struggle Sneakers

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is a Nike guy for now, but it seems like that doesn't preclude him from acting as a pitchman for other sneaker brands. In a clip posted on his Instagram on Thursday, Wilson puts his stamp of approval on something called Good Man Brand. "This product is pretty sick and sweet," Wilson says while showing off the rather plain-looking footwear on the table in front of him. The sneakers actually aren't all that offensive, they're just rather milquetoast. Wilson's brief presentation includes usage of the words "amazing" and "dope" and a little treat for "those of you who like blue." According to Wilson, he has part ownership in Good Man Brand. Check out the clip below.

Air Jordan 7 Retro "Olympic Alternate"

It’s been almost 25 years since NBA players first stepped foot into international competition with the legendary USA Dream Team at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Instead of releasing the iconic “Olympic” Air Jordan 7, a pair that has seen a retro release three times plus the nearly identical “For The Love Of The Game” colorway in 2010, Jordan brand is going an alternate route this year. The Air Jordan 7 “Olympic Alternate” will hit retail shelves for the first time ever, as the Jumpman is unearthing an unused patriotic Olympic-themed Tinker Hatfield design dating back to 1992. The bold pair features an American flag stamped on the heel with Jordan’s Olympic number 9. A red gradient midsole stands out while Deep Royal Blue and White alternate throughout the upper. Premium accents of metallic gold hit throughout in honor of the Dream Team’s perfect record and Gold Medal accomplishment. Be sure to check out more of the latest Olympic Jordan after the jump.

Bape x adidas NMD R1

The rumored Bape x Adidas NMD collaboration is happening after all. Official Adidas product imagery leaked on Thursday (via Twitter user @HeisenbergHeat) depicting two styles of the NMD draped in Bape's signature camouflage. The shoes are listed as NMD_R1 releases and look to be retailing for $150 each. Word of this collaboration first surfaced in June, when a supposed Bape x NMD leaked. The colorway from that leak doesn't appear in the latest one, which suggests, along with its similarity to an early Photoshop rendering imagining such a collaboration, that it wasn't the real deal. Regardless, the adidas.com-style images of the shoes pictured here confirm that this wild team-up is indeed happening. There is no sneaker release date info yet for the Bape NMD.

Under Armour Files Emmanuel Mudiay PE Logo

Are we looking at Under Armour’s next signature guy? Emmanuel Mudiay took an interesting route to get to the NBA, skipping the opportunity to play under legendary coach Larry Brown at SMU to instead head to China for a year to guarantee his family financial stability. At 18 years young, Mudiay inked a deal with Under Armour right out of High School and represented the brand in China even before he was drafted 7th overall by the Denver Nuggets. After a supurb rookie year, Mudiay had an effective Summer League and looks to be one of the most promising young point guards in the NBA. Now we get news that Under Armour has registered a new PE Mudiay logo for trademark featuring interlocking E and M initials and two stars hinting at Emmanuel’s Congolese heritage. You can check out his fresh new PE logo in the below tweet.

The Air Jordan 1 has been a trendsetter since ’85. Now, the roles are reversed and this iconic silhouette is the one adapting current trends. Seen here in a white/black and black/white colorway is the Air Jordan 1 with what appears to be an ankle collar sleeve embedded into the interior of the shoes. In addition to the sportier ankle collar is an upper built with canvas-like uppers and embroidered Swoosh/Wings logos. Release information is coming soon, so get a first look after the jump.

Somebody Just Spent $18,500 On These Air Jordans?!?!

Earlier tonight, Stadium Goods tweeted a photo of a receipt showing the purchase, totaling more than $21,000 after the addition of four pairs of adidas Ultra Boosts. Though they didn't specify that it was the UNDFTD 4 that sold, the price and the shoe's disappearance from the shop's website provide the necessary context to reach that conclusion. Limited to just 72 pairs, the UNDFTD 4 was Jordan Brand's first collaboration with an outside entity. The combination of olive, black and orange was inspired by the MA-1 flight jacket.

Reebok Unleashes Two Kaiju-Inspired Sneakers in Celebration of the New "Godzilla" Reboot

Reebok is getting in on the celebration around the upcoming release of Godzilla Resurgence by releasing two kaiju-inspired takes on the Instapump Fury Road. Much like the film, the sneakers will tap into a rich well of nostalgia for classic Godzilla content: the classic Insta-Fury gets a textured upper that resembles a reptile’s scales, along with a red and white midsole that resembles the beast’s powerful mandibles. The shoe’s pump plays the role of the monster’s pupil. The Shin Godzilla Instapump Fury Road, on the other hand, comes with a glow-in-the-dark midsoles and trims, all the better to terrorize the local populace with. These phosphorescent details are contrasted with a glowering red insole. Both sneakers feature Godzilla’s footprints on the sole inserts. These are set to receive a limited release on July 29th, on the day of the film’s Japanese release, while a wider drop is expected in January 2017.
