Thieves Smash Into Sneaker Store to Steal "Space Jam" Jordan 11's

The "Space Jam" Air Jordan 11 madness has officially begun. Early Wednesday morning, thieves in Louisville, Kentucky, smashed into the back of a City Gear sneaker store to lift pairs ahead of their Saturday release. In a story from WAVE 3 News, police said damage to the building appears to have been caused by a vehicle. The store isn't saying how many pairs were stolen, but is still planning to go ahead with a raffle release for the Air Jordan 11. The Louisville Metro Police Department has yet to make any arrests in connection to this sneaker crime. WAVE 3 reports that another store in the Louisville area was hit with the same type of smash-and-grab just last week. The Air Jordan 11 "Space Jam" will release on Saturday, Dec. 10th, for $220 USD.
