Nike Welcomes Bryson Tiller to the Swoosh Fam via an Intimate Air Force 1 Bespoke iD Studio Session

Bryson Tiller has recently joined team Nike and has been welcomed with open arms thanks to a special session at NikeLab 21 Mercer’s Bespoke iD Studio. Tiller’s choice of the Air Force 1 hails from his upbringing, dating back to his high school days. Bryson states that “I wore a uniform to school, so the white-on-white or black-on-black Air Force 1 Low was the simple sneaker to wear, but it was the standard. You were cool if you had on a pair of Air Force 1s and it’s still a staple for me while on tour.” During the creative session he managed to craft a special pair inspired by his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Its upper hosted University Red coloring while gracing premium full-grain leather, giving off the look and feel of boxing gloves. The eyestays are Tour Yellow while the lace dubraes welcomed Metallic Gold to bring it full circle. As a finisher, an off-white midsole and gum outsole closed out the design to Tiller’s satisfaction. Check out the rest of the process and additional words from Bryson Tiller here.

Dak Prescott Gets Help From Desiigner in First Sneaker Commercial

For brands, finding the right endorsers boils down to luck as much as due-diligence. As adidas continues to fight for NFL visibility, one of this season's rookie signings is paying off in a major way. When Adidas signed Dak Prescott back in September, they believed they were bringing in a star. The brand probably didn't foresee Prescott becoming the starter for a team with the best record in the league in his rookie campaign, but that's the reality of things as the Cowboys grind through the winter playoff chase. This week, the quarterback debuted his first commercial with Champs Sports and adidas. In the clip, Prescott laces up the adidas AlphaBOUNCE sneaker and hits the studio with rapper Desiigner.

There's no questions that there's a huge demand for Air Jordans, but the reality is not everyone can afford them. Act of giving happened when a Foot Locker employee overheard the boy's mother tell him that she couldn't afford them, even after he tried them on. As a former foster child, the employee knew what it was like to not have Air Jordans while growing up, so she offered to buy the $95 sneakers. According to Fox 35, Nielson loved the sneakers so much, he wouldn't wear them to school for fear they would get dirty at gym. "I really don't want to get them dirty," he said. "I use Kleenex wipes on them." Watch heart-warming video below.

It was this past July when a safe disguised as a Nike shoebox made waves on the Internet. Although it was rumored to be some Photoshop ploy, it turned out that it was the real deal. The two-man team from Mandem Safe have been tirelessly working on prototypes and have finally conjured up an impressive container to hide all of your precious goods. There will only be a limited run of 100 units for each box, priced at $127 USD, these are expected to release December 15th.

Y-3's Qasa High "Crystal White/Vapour Steel"

Though it may technically be a Spring/Summer 2017 release, the latest rendition of Yohji Yamamoto and adidas’s fan-favorite Qasa High is already here. The “Crystal White/Vapour Steel” rendition of the Qasa High can be picked up now from Y-3 spots like Packer Shoes for $390 USD.

Nike Hosts an Impressive Foamposite Retrospective With WZK Shanghai

Nike Sportswear announced its “12 Soles” project that pays homage to signature silhouettes such as the Air Force 1 and Air Max 2 Uptempo, as well as the widely popular Air Foamposite Pro. This time around, the athletic brand has spawned an incredible retrospective with Shanghai-based retailer, WZK, to commemorate the Foams’ forthcoming 20th anniversary in 2017. The exhibition spotlights countless iterations of the plastic-based model, which initially stunned Swoosh enthusiasts back in 1997 with its unconventional design. Classic renditions such as the “Royal Blue” colorway donned by Penny Hardaway are on display as well as limited releases including the “Tianjin” iteration launched in 2015 to celebrate the Year of the Goat. Accompanying the installation is a special edition Foamposite book that features visuals shot by Instagrammer 3dk129. Only 150 copies will be made available to those who purchase a pair of “Dr. Doom” Foamposites at the exhibit. Take a look at the photos after the jump.
