Meet a Man Who Won Auto-Lacing Nike Mags for 30 Dollars
When most sneakerheads and movie fanatics checked their e-mail inboxes for the results of the auto-lacing Nike Mag raffle earlier this week, they were greeted with a message letting them know they hadn't won. That wasn't the case for Minneapolis' Aaron Borland, one of only 89 entrants to receiving a winning message from designer Tinker Hatfield. Borland shared his story with CBS Minnesota, explaining that he purchased three of the unlimited $10 raffle tickets for the drawing. The irony there is that as a fan of the Back to the Future movies, he actually spent more money buying the Universal Studios replica version, which sells for $70 - $80 at halloweencostumes.com.
