Nike Air Huarache Utility*~

This holiday season will see Nike Sportswear dropping a rugged update to one of its most popular silhouettes of the moment: the Tinker Hatfield-designed Air Huarache. Dubbed the Air Huarache Utility, the new take on the retro runner retains the low-top look of old, as well as its signature neoprene and mesh construction, but now pairs the look with a modified traction outsole, overlaying reinforcements, Dynamic Flywire support and a D-ring lacing grommet that works in conjunction with the TPU heel support wrap, via a nylon attachment, so as to provide an improved lockdown fit when fully laced.

Foot Locker Refuses To Ship Yeezy Boosts To Resellers*~

The Yeezy Boost 350 sneaker release cycle goes like this: photo leaks, hype increases, shoes release, resellers make bank. It’s just the sad state of affairs in today’s world of big-ticket shoe drops and no matter how hard the brands try, it will never be avoided. Foot Locker Europe, however, is taking matters into their own hands by refusing to ship orders to resellers. The logistics of this is a huge liability because how would the huge retail chain even determine which processed order is from a known sneaker reseller? We’ll see what the fallout is from this, so stay tuned for updates on Foot Locker’s vigilante approach to preventing the sneaker reselling game.
