Since images of Public School New York's latest collaboration with Jordan Brand first surfaced back in September, sneakerheads have been fiending for information on when they'd be able cop the coveted pair. Well, 'heads need only wait a few days longer as the PSNY x Air Jordan 12 is reportedly dropping really soon. According to _@PO2345 on Twitter, the collab hits select retailers beginning Thursday, December 17th. No mention of official pricing was given, but their have been rumblings that this collab could retail for $300. If the rumors regarding the price are true, sneakerheads certainly won't be happy. But we all know, that even at that price point, these will fly off shelves.

Converse reaches back into Japan’s post-World War II Occupation period for the striking designs of its latest “Souvenir Jacket” pack. This particular time in Japanese history spawned the sukajan jacket, when American soldiers had their MA-1 bomber jackets embroidered with bold Japanese motifs in colorful threads as a wartime souvenir, hence the name of the sneaker pack. Here, the Converse Chuck Taylor 1970 features the same embroidery technique on uppers of black goat leather, with a crouching tiger design on one and a skull and snake motif on the other. Rounded out underneath with a thicker 1970 white midsole, the Converse 1970 “Souvenir Jacket” pack will release online in the near future for $150 USD each.
J.Crew and New Balance team up once again for a sneaker collaboration, just in time for the holiday season. Dubbed “Royalty,” the two brands revisit their favored 998 silhouette to render the iconic sneaker in a vibrant colorway that includes shades of blue, red, white, gray and a diverse palette of greens. Hallmark detailing is showcased on the shoe with a classic suede upper, thick rubber midsole, and reflective elements throughout the body. The “Royalty” retails for $180 USD and is available now at J.Crew online.
Reebok’s underutilized Club C silhouette returns for the holidays as Boston’s Concepts gets in on the action with its own takes on the design. Ditching the usual leather construction in favor of premium suede, the Concepts-design trio comes in three different colorways and features details like co-branded labels, cotton lacing, gum rubber outsoles and custom packaging. Retailing for $80 USD per pair, the Concepts x Reebok Club Cs are set to hit Concepts’ Cambridge and NYC locations as an exclusive in-store release this Friday, November 27th.
KITH is revisiting its relationship with New Era and the New York Yankees to present a series of 59Fifty hats, continuing the upcoming “City Never Sleeps” collection. Placing a spin on the already legendary Yankees cap, each piece hosts the unforgettable New York Yankees logo on the front with a simple KITH logo on the hat’s rear. Additionally, each hat is game-authentic and complemented by wool fabric throughout. Three colorways will be available in the choices of a grey cap with a navy brim and white embroidery, a classic black cap with white embroidery, and a black cap with navy embroidery. Renowned for his high-end approach to sneaker design and immaculate attention to detail, artist and designer Taka Hayashi links up with Vans’ premium Vault by Vans label for a special collaborative collection this season. A custom Pendleton Wool blanket is the centerpiece of the capsule, and holds colorful tones and Southwestern-styled motifs inspired by Hayashi’s earlier paintings. The Pendleton x Taka Hayashi x Vault by Vans capsule collection is set to drop November 28 with a price range of $120-285 USD at Vans retailers.
Jordan Brand may be bringing back the Air Jordan 8 “Aqua” for Black Friday, but that isn’t the only major release coming from the Nike imprint in the days ahead, coming Cyber Monday is a special black and white make-up for the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. Decked out in black leather and built atop a stark white rubber outsole, the kicks come with all the OG design cues fans expect of the silhouette (a nylon tongue, “Nike Air” tongue branding and a Jumpman-free heel). Retailer Jimmy Jazz has teamed up with outdoor brand Timberland for the launch of the 6-inch Helcor boot, exclusive to the retailer. To launch the boot, the retailer and the brand created a video campaign featuring four of New York City’s top battle rappers and will host a rap battle for a chance to win $3,000. The boot will drop Nov. 20th and will be available in men’s and grade school sizes. The men’s sizes will retail for $190 USD and the grade school sizes will retail for $130 USD. The boots will be sold at select Jimmy Jazz locations and through the brand’s website.

Images from Buscemi’s holiday-themed campaign have been released, which features model Jourdan Dunn lounging around in the brand’s high-end sneakers. The campaign was shot by photographer Adam Secore, and features Dunn wearing various Buscemi sneaker styles, from fringed leather to colored suedes.
The latest footwear release from the adidas Originals SPEZIAL collection has been teased in the form of this vintage-effect advert. The iteration of adidas’s classic New York silhouette, renamed to celebrate Argentinian store owner and adidas fan Carlos, comes in a sky blue colorway and is endowed with SPEZIAL’s usual keen attention-to-detail and faithfulness to the German brand’s leisure and athletic roots. Details of the limited release will be announced on November 23rd.

#RETROspective is a carefully curated pop-up event that will showcase more than 3,000 sneakers from @Croatianstyle's archives, including rare pairs from Nike, Jordan, adidas, New Balance, ASICS, and Vans. The collection spans over 16 years and emphasizes rare, hard to find product such as vintage O.G.s and samples. In total, there was an estimated $2M worth of kicks on display, but that's not even the best part. After the event finished, every single pair was made available for immediate purchase. #RETROspective runs throughout this weekend at Known Gallery located at 441 N. Fairfax Ave in Los Angeles, CA.
The Nike "Color of the Month" Air Force 1 pack will continue next month with the arrival of the baby blue pair shown above. The sneaker is the first one in the set to break from the leather upper construction, and instead has a soft nubuck to it. Images of this colorway have been floating around since summer, but it wasn't until recently that it became apparent the shoe was part of a monthly program of OG releases.
