As 2015 approaches, so do release date leaks. Many catalog images have been surfacing which reveal product codes as well as release dates which at the moment we cannot confirm nor debunk. The “R.F.C.” collaboration will be available exclusively at OTH beginning October 4th.
Shwood has once again teamed up with fellow American brand Pendleton. This time they decided to work on their signature “Canby” silhouette. Presenting it in a dark walnut wood version, the temples have been laser-engraved with Pendleton’s Rancho Arroyo pattern. Furthermore each pair of sunglasses comes with a custom Pendleton wool pouch. Paris retailer Starcow has worked with New Balance on a collaboration for Fall/Winter 2014. As part of the Made in England range, the retailer chose to work on the iconic M1500 silhouette. With the UK Flimby factory acting as a backdrop for the above images, the sneaker is presented in a green/beige colorway, as well as a grey/orange colorway. Unique in terms of chosen colors, yet still rather timeless, the Starcow x New Balance M1500 Pack will be released in Paris at the store on October 4th.
Adding to the 25th anniversary celebration of the Reebok Pump is Social Status, who outfits the classic hoops shoe with an luxurious makeover. This new edition of the first-ever shoe with Reebok Pump technology features a faux-woven textured leather upper in dark brown with tonal accents throughout, while perforated leather adorns the toe box and high-top ankle detailing. A gum rubber outsole and waxed tan laces add the final touches.

ASICS has given its Gel Kayano silhouette a new spin with the “Glow in the Dark” edition. Now an established retro model in the ASICS lineup, this design features a black and white upper of mesh and suede, with blue accents around the heel counter, tongue and lining. The ASICS branding is done in blue and black and offers midfoot support, while the white paneling lights up in fluorescent green in the dark, which is bound to turn heads. The midsole of cushioned Gel is white with grey and black accents, and sits atop a blue outsole. This silhouette is now available online at select retailers.
The concept was conceived when Nike designers decided to randomly thread together 12 colors of excess yarn, which were left on spools from other Nike Flyknit models to craft the shoe uppers. The Nike LeBron X has received a custom makeover courtesy of sneaker enthusiast ROM. Dubbed the “Shattered Prism,” the inspiration plays on the previously released “Prism” iteration but with a colorful twist. Most notably, the upper is slathered in an almost kaleidoscopic print while retaining the bold black colors on the breathable mesh panels.

A disturbing story hit the web recently with loose ties to the sneaker community. In Brooklyn on September 1st, two robbers stole sneakers and electronics from an apartment on E. 49th Street in East Flatbush. It’s alleged that the thieves also held a gun to the head of a 1-year old baby boy while threatening to kidnap him. Why is this a story now? Unfortunately the two robbers are still at large. According to this leaked catalog shot below, the "Stealth" Air Jordan XX is on tap for next March. Originally released in 2005, the shoe features a black patent leather base, nubuck straps, red lining and stealth grey on the heel and outsole. This pair was seen as part of a Countdown Pack in 2008.
Known as the "NYC Slam" Pack, this collection features the Fila Original Tennis and original Fitness silhouettes. Both pairs come in Fila's signature white, red and blue colors. The Original Tennis sports a white-based thick mesh upper with red and navy blue accents, and leather detailing. A full gum rubber outsole finishes this pair off. The Boston-based retailer Concepts took to their official Instagram account to announce that they have teamed up with Vans for their latest collabo. Known as the 'Rat Hunter' edition, this Old Skool silhouette features a blue-based upper with a unique graphic throughout. Silver accents, a cream suede toe, vulcanized white sole and custom insoles finish this pair off.
