Ready for a world tour, four new colorways of the New Balance 574 have been packaged together for the “Passport” Collection. Bolstered for travel, ripstop nylon is used alongside patent and tumbled leather for a rugged design on the casual trainer. Streaking down the middle, a leather strip runs the length of the tongue, featuring a nylon overlay bringing together the color scheme of each respective kick.
Recently subject to numerous reissues, the PUMA Disc Blaze is now seen helmed by Sophia Chang in the new “Brooklynite” pack. adidas has today unveiled the Samba primeknit, the worlds first knitted football boot. Promising an unparalleled second-skin fit, each boot is created from a single piece of yarn that’s been treated for water resistance. Thanks to the innovative production method, adidas has been able to weave different zones into the upper to cater to different performance requirements, and the overall package promises new levels of flexibility and comfort while still retaining the strength of a traditional boot.
Converse continues to roll out classic colorways from the 1970′s Collection. This remastered All-Star harkens the quality standards of yesteryear, utilizing heavyweight canvas around the upper, raised foxing around the sole, and additional cushioning at the interior, increasing support and structure. This release finds classic red, off-white, and navy colorways with more adventurous mustard yellow and sky blue versions for the spring.
Designed by Craig Stecyk, once the co-owner of Santa Monica’s legendary Jeff Ho Surfboards and Zephyr Production. the shoe takes cues from his art installation “Northwest Passage” and adopts his signature tribal identity alongside an iridescent upper reminiscent of bronze casting. Appearing on both the heel and footbed of the green and black Jordans is stylized "AJ One SB" type as a contrasting white midsole and translucent rubber outsole complete the look.
The Stecyk-designed Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 will be available in limited quantities at select Nike SB and Jordan Brand retailers, as well as Nike.com, beginning March 15th.
Del Toro‘s staple Alto Chukka returns for Spring 2014 from the Miami-based label in a trio of brand new quilted makeups. Offering quilted uppers of luxurious suede and nubuck, the mid-tops are highlighted by details like leather laces, contrasting rubber soles, and the brand’s signature red leather heel pull tab. All three Italian-made Alto Chukkas are now available at Del Toro boutiques and the label’s online store.

Nike SB has unveiled its "Renewal" collection for Spring/Summer 2014. All three silhouettes now boast Free and Air-cushioned soles for additional comfort when not skating. Both Koston and P-Rod’s models now feature Hyperfuse uppers along with Free tech in the forefoot and Air in the heel. Janoski’s model goes for a mesh upper with a woven tongue sitting atop a speckled Free and Air sole. All three models stick to a color palette of black and green. Look for all three at Nike starting February 26th.
