A new collab is at hand by eyewear brand LOOK/SEE has teamed up with Hasbro on a limited G.I. Joe release. With the release of the latest movie, GI Joe: Retaliation, the timing of the release is perfect as LOOK/SEE brings out pairs commemorating some of the favorite GI Joe characters.
From upgrading their RSVP system earlier this week, to adding a brand new feature called "Spot in line", Nike is doing whatever it takes to make sure customers get their pairs in a fair way. The most recent upgrade for online releases, is a brand new system that allows you 1 spot after you've added the product to your cart. Once you've received the message, you’re in line for the product but it does not guarantee availability – just puts you ahead of everyone else who’s trying to cop a pair online.
Set to release this summer is the KIROIC X Vans Collection. A collaborative effort between the skating brand and the Shanghai-based cobbler, the collection incldes three Era-like sneakers made with the highest quality materials. The three sneakers feature black leather base with a unique embroidered toe box and an unorthodox heel tab.
At this point, if you don’t own a pair of Bred’s, than that must mean that you really didn’t want them. According to industry insight the Air Jordan 11 "Bred" was made for mass consumption — to the tune of 650,000 pairs distributed in the US alone. Figures that high mean that there are plenty of pairs to go around, especially after this past weekends drop tacked on an additional 150k to the original haul of 500,000 pairs originally released back in December. The re-stock was due to just plain old stock sitting around, no new pairs were made. In effect buyers have had two opportunities to grab the heralded shoe, and with numbers so high, you might want to wait out some re-sell prices.
The Li-Ning Way of Wade in its white/cement colorway has begun to arrive in select Asian accounts. The sneaker comes with a full white leather upper contrasted with black on the sock liner and outsole. Red is used on the heel branding, along with a speckled cement midsole and cement/black laces.
Coming from the Special Projects line from Nike Sportswear is the Dunk High Premium "Foxboro". The Dunk makes use of a unique quilted design on the majority of the upper offset with a obsidian leather on the toe box. A pecan leather Swoosh is also used, finished off with premium detailing including leather laces, green on the tongue and a special patterned interior.
It looks like size? will link up with adidas to put their own twist to the classic Centaur model. This lowtop silhouette is constructed in mesh and premium suede material. The subtle upper is then complemented with navy accents from the three stripes and back heel. Look for the size? x adidas Centaur Navy/Grey to release at size? on March 29th.

Opening Ceremony and adidas Originals has linked up once again to create another hot footwear collection. This second installment is dubbed the "Tennis" collection, this pack includes to different silhouettes. The design ranges from bold zig-zag patterns to an all-white colorway.
This sample version of the Area 72 Barkley Posite shown here features a more subtle look than the production pair. This version looks like it opted to go without the speckled pattern. Instead, it features an all 3M upper and a white midsole. This version stayed with the Raygun logo on the tongue, but the Swoosh from the toe is nonexistent.

New updates to their Twitter RSVP process may help. On RSVP date, a tweet will be sent out at a random time to start the RSVP process containing a circled hashtag in the product image. Once this happen, users must send a Direct Message to the store that includes the the product-specific hashtag, your first and last name, and shoe size (limit one). Confirmation Direct Messages will then be sent from the store based on time of RSVP request and available sizes.
Frank the Butcher and Reebok Classics have teamed up once again, bringing in The Distinct Life for a new, triple branded Ventilator for the spring season. The retro runner utilizes suede, leather and mesh on the upper, colored in shades of burgundy and grey. Furthermore, the limited edition release features Frank's Business As Usual (BAU) branding on heel, while Burn Rubber's Rick Williams and his Distinct Life label get their shine on the tongue.

This latest joint effort with Missoni is a premium Converse First String limited-edition collaboration featuring the vintage ’70s Auckland Racer running shoe in two new fabric updates for spring. Both multi-color and greyscale gradient-fade versions celebrate Missoni’s iconic multi-stitch fabric with a wool/viscose upper, premium canvas lining and white rubber soles. The multi-color version also uses a subtle woven lamé yarn in the fabric. Converse launches the shoe on Friday, March 29 in limited quantities at Missoni boutiques and select Converse First String retailers globally.
From Japanese footwear label Hender Scheme comes its Homage Collection for Spring/Summer 2013. The collection pays homage to classic sneaker silhouettes by reinterpreting them with luxe materials and exacting craftsmanship. Three styles are available: an Era-inspired silhouette, a German military sneaker-inspired iteration, and an Air Force 1-inspired high top.
