Nike SB Spring 2013 is making an early appearance this summer, with small previews of the Dunk Line set to release next spring. Together with the ‘Vanilla’ Dunk High and other new colorways including a ‘Saint Patty’s’ Dunk High, Black and White and Brown and Black colorway.
The Nike SB Dunk ‘Pigeon’ will forever be remembered as the first sneaker to cause riots in the streets of New York in 2005. But As much trouble as the Pigeon caused in the mid 2000′s, it’s not stopping Jeff Staple, Creator of the Pigeon concept, from releasing another sneaker featuring the classic Pigeon colorway. Jeff Staple and HUPBOX!, collaborate on a 12 pair size run using the Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse iD. The ID features the Grey and Orange pigeon theme, accented with white. The iD will be packaged in a clear box courtesy of Hupbox, displaying text, size and of course, a Pigeon logo. These release this weekend at Reedspace.
Reebok Classics Creative Director, Swizz Beatz said it’s “Showtime” for some classic Reebok models. Although we got a preview look at the upcoming 2012-13 Reebok Retro lineup, Swizzy wanted to assure the fans by tweeting a image of five upcoming Reebok Retro models including the Kamikaze II, Question, ES22, DMX Run, and Answer IV’s.
This Saturday sneakerheads throughout the 5 boro's and beyond will be heading to Sneaker Con NYC, an event big enough to warrant a pre-party to get the ball rolling proper. It’ll be going down Friday night at the adidas Originals store in Soho, from 7 pm to 10 pm, with beats supplied by the one and only DJ Clark Kent. Any purchase made in the store during the party gets you free admission to next day’s Sneaker Con NYC, while a purchase over $50 will score you an official adidas Originals Sneaker Con t-shirt as well.
This particular version is part of the Road to the Gold Collection and has a different take on the traditional Olympic colors. The upper is constructed from canvas materials and has a color combination of grey, red, light blue, and yellow. A white midsole is provided to complement the multicolored upper. One notable feature is the special spray paint fade look from the toe box, Swoosh, and around the collar. Look for the Air Jordan 1 AJKO “RTTG” to hit select JB accounts in the upcoming weeks.
Summer hoops means another running of the Quai 54 Streetball Tournament in Paris, and a promo video for the highly anticipated event recently dropped online. The 10th Annual edition of the tournament is part of this summer's World Basketball Festival and will run from June 30 to July 1. Continuing to utilize the timeless Air Max '90 runner in ways we'd never imagine, Nike Sportswearrecently introduced a zebra print option to iD up the classic runner. Although we still cannot confirm when the unique print will be available for use, this NIKEiD Studio Design dresses the sleek runner entirely in zebra print. Black laces and a black tongue help tone down the full-patterned look, while a white and black tradtional Air Max '90 tooling holds everything down below.

Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook have quickly become the go-to space for previewing new releases, and Omar Salazar took to one of them recently to reveal his new collaboration with Levis and Nike SB. The image reveal a quarter top Nike SB in black suede with the Levi’s logo in red on the heel.

Missoni and Converse linked up for the third time to create two more special edition Converse. The Auckland Racer model will be used as the platform. The colorways are inspired by Missoni’s upcoming seasonal collections. The upper is constructed out of Missoni’s mulch-stitch fabric in multicolored and a grey gradient fade colorways.
Japanese streetwear boutique Kinetics has announced that they are planning to host a pop-up shop in Tokyo titled ONLY JORDAN“Began from here”. Though details are very scarce right now, we can tell you that the pop-up shop will be located somewhere in Harajuku, and will run from Saturday, June 30, 2012, to Monday, July 16, 2012.
Tokyo's atmos and adidas Originals have teamed up once again for a fifth G-SNK offering, presenting the classic adidas Superstar in a unique glow-in-the-dark snakeskin colorway. The atmos X adidas Originals Superstar 80s G-SNK V will release on July 7 at atmos. Retail price is set at ¥14,700 (approx. $185 USD).
