To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Michael Jordan’s National Title in ’82, Converse has teamed up with Jordan Brand for a special collaboration to commemorate Michael’s Tar Heel supremacy, releasing just 23 pairs of this limited edition shoe via auction. The release date is currently set at Monday, April 2nd 2012.

Custom Kicks: Nike LeBron 9 "Miami Nights"*~

Using the "Mango" LeBron 9 as the base shoe, Mache applied the black-splattered Solar Red and Glass Blue print to the shoe's upper. The Swoosh logos and midsole have been repainted white, with additional changes made to the tongue signatures and pull-tabs.

Nike Starts Countdown For New NFL Jersey Pre-Order*~

Under the NEW deal, Nike will produce on and off-field apparel, while New Era will be the league’s official cap makers. Next week, Nike will officially launch their new apparel, with an official release of the jerseys somewhere down the line. If you’re anxious to represent your favorite player with Nike’s new threads, a pre-order is scheduled for Sunday, April 15. In case you’re not sure how far away that is, Nike has set up a countdown clock on their NFL Shop landing page.

Vintage Ad: Nike Air Shake NDESTRUKT #ThrowbackThursdays*~

This ad features the original white and navy colorway, but Dennis Rodman primarily wore a white and red colorway until the 1996 NBA Playoffs where he rocked an all black with white Swoosh colorway en route to the NBA Championship with the Bulls.  

Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low*~

Supreme will continue their long-standing relationship with Nike Skateboarding after another Supreme-branded SB Dunk Low surfaced on the web today. Inspired by Supreme's first collaborative AJ III-inspired Dunk Lows released back in 2002, the new collaboration features elephant print detailing along the toe, eyestay and heel panel. Red fills in the toe-box, tongue, underlay and collar area, while black handles the laces, Swoosh, liner and detailing throughout. White adds some contrast to the eye-catching look, handling the tongue branding and mid-sole down below.

March 29, 1982, will forever be marked as the day “A Star Was Born.” 19 year-old Freshman guard, Michael Jordan nailed the game-winning shot with 16 seconds remaining to defeat a dominant Georgetown Hoya team in the 1982 NCAA Championship. Nike SB Signs Alex Olson*~

The first 2nd-generation skateboarding pro has just signed with his third footwear brand. Following a contract with Vans and past ties to Lakai, Alex Olson is now a member of Nike SB. Alex adds to an already strong roster, bringing his own sense of style and knowledge of the culture. This endorsement includes both footwear and apparel, with Alex said to be working closely with both.

Nike Air Max 1 Premium - Holiday 2012 Preview*~

Four Nike Air Max 1 colorways will debut this Holiday season, in a two tone color pack. The colorways display suede and nylon materials, complimented with a leather swoosh. These colorways will  definitely be must cops for the upcoming Holiday season.

Nike Air Max Barkley HOH - Obsidian/Team Orange-White*~

The shoe sports a micro-perforated synthetic obsidian upper accented by Team orange on the tongue, laces, inner lining and pull-tab. White works various branding points on the upper, as well as detailing along the midsole, which is finished off with orange Max Air cushioning and an obsidian-dominated outsole.

Nike Sportswear X Liberty - Nike Dunk Sky High - Spring 2012*~

As if the floral pattern wasn’t enough, the shoe is fitted with an interior wedge heel, injecting more than a little high-fashion style into the retro court silhouette. The shoe includes a gum outsole and black laces, as well as contrasting black stitch-down detail on the off-white midsole. Part of the 2012 Nike Sportswear x Liberty collection that spans a trio of basketball sneakers that also includes a Blazer and Hyperclave. 

Nike WMNS Air Max 1 - Leopard*~

Animal prints continue to have a strong presence in the sneaker community, the latest example being this women's Air Max 1 from Nike Sportswear's Holiday 2011 Collection. Expected to release alongside a Dunk High that shares the same look, this version of the classic runner features a black suede and nylon build, complemented by faux leopard trim along the vamp, upper eyelets and heel. The interior is lined in Solar Red, while a creamy off-white is used for branding and the midsole. 

Nike Sportswear X Liberty Collection - Nike Air Max 1*~

Nike Sportswear teamed up with Liberty of London again this Spring, collaborating on a capsule footwear collection that includes several Nike classics adorned with Liberty's signature Lagos Laurel print (a "20th century take" on traditional paisley). 

The Nike Sportswear x Liberty Air Max 1 drops at select Nike Sportswear retailers on April 2.
